It is the most painful experience when you are getting headache. Some people feel as if their surroundings are rotating, they may feel nauseous and may not like to be around a lot of noise. It will be very uncomfortable if the headache comes in certain situation in which you have to do important occasion like meeting, examination, party, weddings, hens days, at work etc. However, there are several things that you can do to self massage away your headache. Just follow some tips below.
A cold washer to your forehead is often the first place to start and sitting in a comfortable chair with your head with you head back and drink a glasses of water.
Next you will want to dim the lights on the room you are in to stop the strain on your eyes.
Then start massaging around the area above your ears called your temples. You can do it by placing your hands on either side of your head and with your index and middle finger, in circular motions gently massage this area.
This next step try to now move your scalp that you need to do is to move your scalp by massaging it with your hands/ finger tips. Then, you should gently press down and then move your fingers in the small circles.
Repeat the previous technique on the back part of your neck but along place your fingers at the base of the skull and push in. This will help release the muscular tension at the base of the skull.
The last step is to continue massaging your scalp in this way until you can cover your entire head.
